Hi, I’m Yvette.
I am a children's Illustrator. My style of design is focused for the children's market. I love to use my imagination to create cute animals and characters. I draw all my illustrations in Procreate.
I have been drawing since a young age. I took art as my studies, went to college and perfected my skills throughout the years. Not only have I drawn by hand but I was also skilled in Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Now I use only Procreate.
I am a mother to my beautiful daughter who is a constant inspiration. She inspires me with her own passion for drawing. Her little creative imagination sparks new ideas and she has been the inspiration for choosing to focus on being a children’s illustrator and opening our very own shop. I hope she keeps up with her dream to be an artist like me and also share her designs with the world. I wanted to name 'Hattie's Pencil' in her name, 'Hattie'.
I am hoping to reach the point where clients will want to collaborate with me in various sectors of the children's market: Children's book illustration, Childrenswear, Children's Surface/Fabric design, Greetings/Stationery just to name a few.
So far I am delighted to say,
I’ve had some small businesses and personal use using my designs on baby clothes, baby blankets, cake toppers and nursery prints.
